Nicholas P. Sims Library is happy to offer free library cards to all teachers and students of Waxahachie Schools. This includes public, private, and charter schools!

 

If you registered for a card last school year you will need to renew your account. To do so, we ask that you come inside the library to verify your identity.

Teachers

You can register for a card online by clicking on the "Teacher Card" link to the right. Filling out this form will create an Online Card. Online Cards will give you access to our databases and e-books through Libby. Please bring your teacher and photo IDs to the library to obtain a Physical Card. The $35 out-of-city fee will be waived, and you will be allowed to check out books from the library.

Students

You can register for a card online by clicking on the "Student Card" link to the right. Filling out this form will create an Online Card. Online Cards will give you access to our databases and e-books through Libby. Please bring your Student ID to the library to obtain a Physical Card. This will allow you to check out books from the library.  Students under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature for a Sims Library Card.

For paper applications, please click on the "Paper Application" link, print your application, fill it out, and return it to your school librarian.
